Recording and Updating multiple cues

I wholeheartedly agree. I just had a touring show come through my space over the weekend, and the SM had a list of looks that were repeated numerous times. I could have cut our programing time in half if I could have recorded the same look to multiple cues.

Hi guys.  Yes, again, I'll tell you "this is on the list."  We've a number of these syntax extensions that are accumulating and we hope to get them addressed in the near term.  Thanks for bringing it up though (that helps it rise to the top of the que) :-)

has this issue been resolved? programming on the Gio and the LD is requesting the same state for the next 10 or so cues which then can be edited later on. at the moment we are having to type in every cue then record it, which is a very long way round the problem.

any ideas or has this been resolved and I dont know about it/ haven't found it?

You can make a sequential list of 'tracking' cues in Blind using the Thru Thru command.

ie Cue 2 Thru Thru 10 Enter - will create cues 2 thru 10 as tracking copies of cues 1 (assuming Cue 1 is the previous cue already existing to Cue 2).

As Warren said, the best way to do this is to create the cues first in Blind (using the [Thru][Thru] syntax).

The specific syntax that the original post in this thread asked for (Record or Update 1+3+5 Enter) has been implemented, so you're free to edit those cues in Live once they have been created in Blind.
