How to disable the channel level display at the bottom of the screen?

Question

Running Eos Family software 2.7.2 in "Element 2" personality on a Mac. 
 Is there a way to get rid of the two orange strips on the bottom of the screen showing current channel levels? I only have one display, and I'd like more vertical real estate.

Yes, you can get rid of it. It's in setup, device, display. I'm not in front of a console, but check if you find a setting called Fader Ribbon there (or something along those lines)
