Is there anyway to add cue lists to the direct select? I know that many busking capabilities are on the list to be done eventually...any idea on a timeline for some additional Direct Selects?
Hi TD, we do have plans to add other functions to the direct selects, but we are not planning to add cue playback to these. We kinda think you need the functions provided by the playbacks (the back button, rate override, timing disable, etc) when you are using cue lists.
I am not looking for cue playback. I am thinking in terms of streamlining the accessing and loading of the playbacks. i.e. {cue list 6} [load] rather than [cue] [6] [/] [load]. While I recognize that the EOS and ION were not designed as a busking/rock and roll desk, I am hoping some of that functionality can make it's way in. Though that also ties into my desire to write a macro from a keystroke that does not result in a command line item.

Ahhhh..... sorry if I misunderstood. We have had several people bring up the idea of using the direct selects to trigger cues, so I immediately hopped to that place. Macros are indeed the best way to go at this time for the above behavior.
