Feature request

Hej Guys & Gals at ETC,

I do like by-type Presets/Palettes and would also like to have global ones. But that´s not what I´d now like to ask for.
My request is about the behavior of the by-type Palettes.
I have a rigg with 20 SolaWash2000 FX and prepared some Presets for a Rigg-Check by-type and some Color-Palettes for my show as well.
The guy with the lowest number was my by-type-Master.
Now we had to change two of those guys ´cause they had issues and one of them was the guy with the lowest number.
Bad thing is that there were no FX spare fixtures and so we put SolaWash 2000 instead.
Another bad thing was that at the moment I changed the fixture type of my by-type-Master all the others lost their info.

I would have loved them to take the next guy as new Master instead. Can that be the behavior at some point in the future?

A workaround for this problem in the future, you can make a macro that goes and recalls data, then updates color palettes by type to include both fixtures.

[SolaWash 2000 FX] [CP] [1]

[SolaWash 2000] {Color} [Recall From] [SolaWash 2000 FX] [Enter]

[Update] [CP] [1] {ByType} [Enter]

(Repeat this for each color palette; you can definitely make this a macro that loops).

* SolaWash 2000 & 2000 FX are placeholders for channel #s.

Hmmm... What I do now is to keep a copy of each fixture in the 9000s.
Thing is that I have to keep those updatet with discrete values or have them as by-type masters.
But I keep hoping for a behavior where the data won´t get lost with the master...
