Can't Update Nomad

Question

Trying to update my Nomad setup and I get the following error while trying to install the software: 
 "The installed version of the application could not be determined. The setup will now terminate." 
 Best next steps please?

On PC or Mac? 
 Have you tried uninstalling Nomad and then installing the new version? 
 On PC, are you installing under the same user account as before? You could also try running the installer program as administrator (right click on icon, then "Run as Administrator")
