I have Coloursource units, with Colour Palettes recorded, as By-Type. I've added 2 spare CS units, and when patched, they recognize the previous by-type palettes.
However, If I patch a new CS unit and add an IQ and DMX Iris, the compound unit channel doesn't connect to the by-type palette.
I've tried it with the CS as Part 3 (IQ part 1): doesn't work
I've built from new, with the CS as part 1: it works. I add Part 2 and Part 3 with the iris and IQ, and it doesn't work.
Is there some way to connect the compound light to a previously built by-type palette? or do I need to rebuild each palette with a by-type command to the new compound unit?
I have (for instance) CP 5, with By-type channels 91 (my CS), 281 (dummy channel for rental fixture A), and 282 (dummy channel for rental fixture B). would I add my compound unit in the same way, so there are 4 by-type channels referencing a colour palette?
