SpaceBar Go Enable / Disable Macro

 Had a quick search but couldn't find anything. I have an Nomad as backup I would like to lock out the Spacebar Go as part of my show start routine via a macro. 
 I've made two Macros, set as background, which contains the command "Spacebar_Go". I added an "Enable" and Disable" but this doesn't function as I'd expect. Both macros work, but both of them act as a toggle. I'd like to make it a firm "Enable" or "Disable" choice, as you'd get with a park macro or similar. 
 Am I missing something obvious ?

i doesn't seel to work as the command auto-terminates so you can't ammend it by Enable or Disable. 
 the reason for foreground was that i was assuming you couldn't use background mode for that command. some commands are different for each user and because of that have to be set in foreground mode. background mode means technically speaking User 0 so you would be changing that user's setting rather than your own. but Spacebar_Go isn't one of those commands as we found out.
