Cues mysteriously disappear without modifying file

A few weeks ago, our lighting designer added a bunch of cues onto a previously existing show file. This show file remained in that saved state for a few days and we regularly shut down and restarted the computer in between playing the show file. We Then, about four days after the cues were programmed, we opened the file and all the recent work was gone. The last "Date Modified" on the file was still the day our lighting designer updated the cues, so we highly doubt we accidentally saved over it with a previous version.

Not sure if this could be related, but we played the file the day before all the progress disappeared and the cues (which are all set to follow as a 30 minute light cycle) stopped in the middle of the sequence (possibly stopping just before the latest cues update, we aren't quite clear on that?). And we had to manually hit the space button and continue the playback.

I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem or something similar and knows what caused it or if there are any ways to recover that data?

We are using EosNomad on a MINIX NEO N42C-4 (not a super strong computer with only 32gb internal HD space) with fully upgraded RAM and Windows 10.

Thank you!
