LED Fixture adress

The way to undo stuff is using the Undo function. Either press the Undo hardkey or use Ctrl-X.

The address of a channel can be seen in different places. In patch, in About>Patch and with About&Address in Live/Blind. The safest method however is in patch, it's the only place where you don't have to look for the lowest number

No, Undo history is purged upon shutdown an when saving the showfile

when i went into about>patch there was no adress listed, how can i give a fixture an adress that will control it

first you need to find out wihc address the fixture is set to. and then you go back to your console and type (channel number) At (address) Enter.

Chan 1 At 2 Enter, will patch channel 1 to address 2
Chan 3 At 4/5 Enter, will patch channel 3 to universe 4 address 5

if the channel and the address are still assigned to each other (aka "patched") you can go to the patch display and press Format once (on nomad that would be F4). this will swap the first two columns on screen hence sorting everything by address. does that help?

Ok, so the channel and the address are no longer assigned to each other. I did the address command on channel 42 and 43 and now there is no control on them and they have no address. Sorry if I didn't word it very well. But I still do have the DMX and the model of the lights.

make sure that your command line says Patch Channel. if it doesn't press the Format button once, it should say Patch Channel now.

42 At x Enter (where x is the DMX address of the fixture you want to react to channel 42)
