GIO/ PUCK sync issue- dropping backup and freezing/ slow to re-connect

did you ever get this resolved, i'm having similiar issues which i had written off to an older console, but everything has been updated and the problem persists

No- never got this resolved. We also had a static IP structure so there was no chance of anything on the network jumping around. Was very odd. Maybe happened 4/ 5 times over a 12 month period in a brand new venue. Tie lines were tested, cables were tested. Ran out of ideas. 

thanks, for responding.  i'm hunting a ghost in the machine it seems.  doesn't seem to be the connections/hardwires as behavior is consistent and repeatable, but as soon as i connect a back up to my system things get weird.
