Wishlist: Change default properties for new submasters

Would be great if I could change the default properties for newly recorded submasters, for instance LTP and P5. I currently have to hit a macro to change these properties every single time I create a new submaster.

(Overall, I think ETC should encourage users to understand LTP and use it more often on their submasters, which more frequently include NIP's. The days of pile-on dimmers are numbered!)

You may not need to be doing this as non intensity Params are LTP anyway

That’s my point. NIP’s are LTP. But intensity is HTP by default. You get more consistent behavior out of your subs by making them LTP.

'Templates' as they will be called were on the list for 2.4 but they ran out of time.

I really hope all the 'we ran out of time' features get added at some point!

Cool. It could be as simple as choosing a specific submaster as the default, the same way we select tab options on PSD and Live Displays. Or a setting in Setup next to Home Preset etc, where you choose a submaster number to be the default.
