What gives with this fixture profile for the multi-cell Chauvet MK Pyxis?
In standard 66-Ch mode, there are 2 different profiles for multi-cell control in the fixture library: MC (10 Cells) and MC2 (9 Cells). In both profiles, the first 2 or 3 cells combine the RGBW parameters with additional Color Mix and Strobe parameters. On the 10-Cell profile, the console treats the first 4 cells as 4 different fixture types, which makes managing By Type Color Palettes a nightmare.
The color mix and strobe parameters should be placed on the Main Channel, as they relate to the "effect macro" parameters on the main channel.
Also, for the RGBW pixel cells are different types between the 2 multi-cell profiles. The MC profile lists them as RGBW. The MCM2 profile lists them as RGBW2. Again, that kind of distinction between fixture type can wreak havoc with recording and managing By Type Color Palettes.
Thanks!
