single channel in cues

Doing Lion King in a month. Using a spot mover with rotating gobos for the sunrise. I will need to record it to go very slow during a series of cues that change led fixtures; colors, locations, etc.  as they are running. So what is the easy way? Can I record that channel with it's own timing to run through all the cues.

Example: have 10 cues that take a total of 90 seconds. Want the sunrise to end a bit before the cues finish. Say 80 seconds. So record that channel to do it's thing in 80 seconds and to trigger during the cue I want it to start, say cue 3?

Or possibly record the mover in cue 1 with a delay of something?

Hope I am making sense.

  • so you're sitting in Cue 1 and when you press Go you want some stuff to happen in say 5 seconds, but one channel should do something in 80. this one channel needs a discrete time or its own cue part with that long timing.

it will continue doing its long fade as long as it doesn't come across a new move instruction or an Assert. so if Cues 3 thru 9 only have tracked values for that channel (written in magenta font) it will continue uninterruptedly
