Slow live scroller moves / snapping

So I'm working on a show where I've got a few intentional live scroller moves. I'd love to slow them down and make them more gradual, but color time edits seem to have no effect as they hold in a frame until the DMX range ticks over to the next frame threshold and then they snap to the next color. It's too late for me to make them not scrollers in the board and run them on raw DMX. Is there a programming method to disable or override the frame snapping on the Eos for a cue so I can have them slowly slide from one color frame to the next?

Thanks!

  • that could be a function of your scrollers. i just patched a generic scroller and the output of the Scroller parameter fades evenly.

what fixture did you use in patch?

if a personality has a certain parameter set to snap you can either use the fixture editor to "un-snap" it. or use discrete timing to override snapping. but snap would mean one jump from start to end color, no inbetween steps. so i don't think it's this...
