missing hard keys on ion?

Hello,

 I know that the ion runs the same software as the eos, and the eos has sooo many more hard keys... but how do I do a +10%, -10% or a link/loop on the ion when in the manual, it uses [hard brackets] which i thought indicated a hard key for that function?
