Effects

Is it possible to record an effect into an intensity sub. So that i hit the button below the sub to run the effect and then use the fader to bring up the lights intensities as they run the effect.

Also is it possible to put the rate for an effect onto a fader handle, so that during a live show I can alter the rate on the fly.

 Thanks

  • Michael.... effects on subs is coming in v1.5.  For those who desire that functionality right now, best option is to write a single cue/cue list, and set the cue list fader to I-Master.

At the moment, the most effective way to override rate control for running effects is via the effect status display.   With that display open, if you select the effect, the encoders change to provide a variety of different override controls.   At some point, we may place (some of) this functionality on the faders.

    Hope this helps.

  • Thanks that worked just fine. I have another question.

I was asked by a designer to make 1 channel that could control multiple dimmers using different parts of the same channel number. I made a new fixture on my off line using intensity 2 , 3 , 4 ect.

When I came to use the channels the new attributes for my light where not displayed on the screen. Did I do something wrong when I made the fixture.

    Thanks

    Michael

  • If you're in Live Table Packed, you can see the extra Intensity channels by holding down [Parameter] and then touching the [Intensity] filter on the CIA.
