Once a snapshot is recorded, it is automatically added to favorites (able to be accessed via the dropdown menu). However, in blind, if you were to try to make a snapshot not a favorite, it dumps the snapshot. It does not however, tell you it dumps the snapshot in any way, the snapshot is just useless once you try and use it. Forgot if I've reported this one before, it's been a bug since at least 2.7.0
