Offline Editor Save Failed

We have a show opened on the Eos Offline Editor and now it will not save. Regardless of the save destination, whether to the original file, show file archive, or a flash drive, the save command results in a "Failed" message in the CIA. Any thoughts on how to get this show to save or get the data off some other way?

  • Only time i've seen a "failed" message is when I've been saving to a flash drive that didn't have enough space
  • i've got the same problem but on a ION demo console that i just started learning today.

this is happening to me on a console with the latest 1.9 software on it.

i can not save to either the hard drive or a usb key ( 8 gig or 256 meg keys) the hard drive i have no idea if it has enough space but i know that the usb key's do for sure.

is there  a setting in the new software that i in changed by accident that would prevent me from saving? i know on the insight consoles you disable the recording functions and i'm starting to wonder if there is the same thing on the ION console that is preventing me from saving the show.

    any help would be appreciated.

  • There is nothing in the software that should cause that problem.

Are you able to export as ASCII? If you exit Ion and re-launch as Offline, does this change anything? In theory the show should still be in memory, but of course if there is corruption or the like, this may not happen.

After exiting, are you able to save the log files to USB? If so, can you email them to eos@etcconnect.com?
