Nimad

Hi ,

Can I use Nomad as a backup instead of RPU .. less cost , is it pissible to connect it to the node and change the port to input and in this way will be connected to the lighting network?

thanks all..

  • Yes, you can use Nomad (with dongle) to back up a console in a networked system. You will be limited to the lowest address count of either the console or Nomad. So if you have a Nomad dongle with 512 addresses as the backup, it will limit your entire system to 512 addresses.

The computer running Nomad will have to be on the network (via Ethernet) with the console and connected as a backup. Using DMX in via a node won't work.
