Splitting a cue

I work in film world. I save cues according to the shot/scene. I have control of a few sets. Now if I want to go back to an old scene on set 1, without effecting the newly set lights on set two is that possible?

for example light 1 is at 50 percent in cue 1 and light 10 is at 10. now I’m on cue 1.12 and light 1 is at 60 and light 10 is at 50 and I want to go back to cue 1 but leave light 10 at 50.

is that possible?

obviously way more lights involved.

  • As long as you're not using an Element, you may want to consider using multiple Cue Lists where you can make Set 1 - Cue List 1 and Set 2 - Cue List 2. Assign them to multiple faders on the fader wing or use the virtual faders and you're good to go.

Just remember to keep your new cues separated. FYI: (11) [Thru] (20) [Record] [Cue] (1) [Enter]  Only records the values of channels 11-20 into cue 1.
