Midi note to trigger sub or channel

the event list needs to be Type = Network. then when you create an event inside the event list there is a softkey MIDI Input that lets you choose

i'm not in front of my Ion, but does it supports the velocity...i mean, for example, if the sound guy send me this note with velocity at 50% does it puts my fader to 50% or does it only bumps it?

I must make an effect with multiple explosions syncronized with Ableton Live and the guy want to make a midi track with curves etc...do u think it will work?

Is there a possibility to act on a channel directly (not adress because of the patch on Tour)?

i'm pretty sure it does act on the velocity proportionally if you choose Sub x Fader as action. after you enter the sub number you get 4 new softkeys, one of the is fader.

"act on a channel directly", you mean not a sub, but a channel directly? no. you can trigger a cue, a sub, a macro or an address. 

oh nice ...it's a shame i must wait until tomorrow morning to test it...
