Inhib sub timing . . .

I am wondering why I cannot assign fade times and a bump hold to an inhibitive sub. This would be really nice. I have been able to trigger an inhibative sub form a cue via a sub master. But with no fade time when I take the inhibitive off with an executed macro form a cue. I would like to have some timing in it so that there is a nice fade on my practicals.

Yeah, inhbit timings would be nice.

Just out of curiosity, is there a reason why you can't just fade the prac chans in via the cue? Why do they have to be on an inhibit?

I like to put practicals, conductor lights, pit light, and other things of that nature on inhibative subs so that they do not come on when not needed. The also, for me, goes for things like hazers and foggers. Also I have been in situations were set practicals have been on flown scenery that have very tight clirances. I use inhibatives just as a safety procaution so that then lamps do not accadently come one while the peace is out or not playing.
And in my search to make things more automated on the desk I just was interested to know why the software does not allow faid timeing and hold bumps for the inhibative susb.
