Is there a shortcut to update the contents of a submaster without actually having to memorize and type in the submaster's number? On the Obsession, you would do this by typing [UPDATE], then hitting the bump button of the appropriate fader. Is there any similar functionality on the Ion?

Not that I am aware of. However, if you look at your fader wing, it should list the sub number on the display above the fader (at least that way you don't have to memorize the sub number)
