We recently ran into an oddball situation where I needed to tell a backup system via a UDP string that the console meant to quit outputting Network DMX. The customer needs this to be seamless and happen with no additional knowledge or keystrokes. During our testing we noticed that Nomad did not run the shutdown macro - and therefore learned that Shutdown Macros are only triggered on "Power off Device", and not when exiting to the shell. While this is an understandable behavior, It would be handy to have either an option to run shutdown macros when exiting... or a third macro option for exit. (Which then could be set as the same or different as the shutdown macro).
I did find someone with the workaround of firing a learned macro for "Power off" to make it happen on Nomad, but again the customer needs a seamless solution.
Thanks for taking a look at this!
