I can record cues but they won't run.

Question

I'm using the Nomad as Element II. I can record a cue, but when I try to run it nothing happens. The faders are at 100% and the display says the cue is running, but nothing is happening. 
 Any help is appreciated.

I must have recorded something. I reloaded the show and it worked. I'd love to know what I'd done wrong.
