EOS 2.8 unfortunately shutdown

You should most certainly post your logfiles, either by uploading here or posting a Dropbox link (or similar). When generating the logfiles also make sure to go to advanced and the select Include Large Crashes.

This is a rare crash that is fixed in the current 2.8.1.5 beta build.

I am not sure of the exact events that cause it, but in some very rare case, it happens when you do go to cue out and you have also modified the channels's fixture defintion in some way, possibly by patching it. In this case, it was the haze parameter of channel 5000 that caused it.

I don't think you will see the crash again, but I would suggest installing 2.8.1 when it releases.
