Looking for a Good DMX Decoder

Hi!

I am looking to do some chases with led strips lights for my upcoming show. Does anyone know of a good DMX decoder that already has its profile set-up in the ETC ION?

Thanks!

  • most decoders just offer a number of outputs but don't assign functions to those outputs. so you could e.g. have one with 4 outputs. the decoder doesn't care if those are for one striplight with R, G, B and W, or four different ones that only use W or if you use a different order (e.g. WGBR instead of RGBW). that's why you usually don't find profiles for specific decoders. you can always have a look at the "manufacturer" generic in the console's fixture library. there you can find all sorts of color combination from RGB and RGBW to GRB and other funny combinations.
