I think this may have already been mentioned. Just updated to 2.8.2.8 and brought up a show file and recorded a snapshot. Afterenter has been pressed the "mimic display" allowing you to choose which screens to include in the snapshot remained, requiring a press of [displays] to get back to the normal view. I'm sure in the past it autmatically returned to the normal display state.
This was on PC nomad - haven't tried it on a console yet.
