EOS ETC nomad wrong Art-net ans sACN output

Hi everyone!

I am using Eos ETC nomad on a PC, version 2.8.2.8, every about 250 packets of data, the patched channels go at full or at 0% for 1 or 2 consecutive packets, then return to the established value,

I have 6 dimmers patched, nothing more, from the live table I putted them into 50%,

trying to find the problem when my 3 channel rgb light flash or dark for a few moments, (like with a typical dmx signal problem) looking with the wireshark I can confirm that the Art-Net packets and the sAcn packets contain the data that the led represent, it means, the values change in the nomad transmitted packets;

now i downgrade to nomad 2.7.0.154 and the problem seems not to be present;

I think there is a problem with the 2.8.2.8 compilation,

any comments will be appreciated, best regards,

Luis

  • ok, with the 2.7 version the problem persists, every about 95 seconds the data output is corrupted; the sequence number of the packets are correlative and in order and all the artDmx packets are correctly formatted and opcoded;

    any help will be appreciated!

    Best regards, Luis

  • You've started Eos in "Offline with Viz/Output" mode.

    The Eos offline editor in Viz Output mode is only for output to a visualizer, it is not for controlling real luminaires.

    Ensure you start Eos as "Primary" in order to control lights.
    This will be available once your ETCnomad dongle is properly detected.

    If your ETCnomad dongle (usually looks like a small green USB stick) is not being properly detected, contact your local ETC technical support and they'll get it sorted out.

    If you do not have an ETCNomad dongle, contact your local ETC dealer for pricing.
