Losing channel metadata during patch

if i'm understanding correctly, you expect that when adding a part 2 it will automatically get e.g. the same curve as part 1? i don't think it should behave like that because different parts of the same channel can have different curves, different labels and also differences in all the other attributes...

Well, you're right. To be honest I'm trying to find a way how to keep my channel metadata during patch.

unless you Delete a channel i don't think your channel's attributes will go away...

These attributes are linked to a part (addess), so if another channel is patched to this part, this part loses all info. for example try this:

chan 1 @ 1 Label one

chan 2 @ 2 Label two

chan 1 @ 2

chan 2 @ 1

and now I'm losing attributes of channel 1
