no virtual keyboard not appearing

Hello I hope someone can help me with this. On our etc Element after a trainee was able to experiment on it for a few hours the virtual keyboard is not appearing. 
 So you press CUE and LABEL nothing happens... 
 How can I solve this? thanks a lot

If you're running an older version of software, it may be because the CIA is locked. Is the padlock icon to the right of your command line on the primary display unlocked or locked? If it is unlocked but still doesn't pop up, what version of software are you running ?
