Smartfade ML ASC file import

I can't speak to the Smartfade side of things. But Element had an ASCII import. File>Import>USITT ASCII>Custom Fixtures

I've tried this, and there's nothing in the cue list.

Are you able to post the file on here so someone can look at it and see if its importable

You might have to zip the file to get it posted here. A Dropbox link (or similar) also works

I think if with a text editor you edit the line that says

Ident 3.0

and change it to

Ident 3:0

It will work - at least it seemed to for me,

That line is supposed to specify the file format

Just checked the spec for USITT ASC and it looks like smartfade was incorrect to send 3.0 as the ident.  

The spec says

So as smartfade is not in active development anyone trying to import a file into EOS will need to change the 3.0 to 3:0 to match the standard.  (obviously might be fixed on a different version to the one in these posts)
