Custom Fixtures

Question

So I recently purchased and ETCnomad and am using it to run a number of lights. I am having no issues with my LED moving lights. I am however, having issues with my Lumin Light Slick Par Quad W. 
 I am currently running the Element version on my Nomad and have created a custom fixture for this light so I can patch it since it isn't in the fixture library. I am currently running the fixtures with 7 parameters and have patched them accordingly. I have parked the intensity parameter at full and when I go on to my live table I am able to control the other parameters by clicking them individually and bringing them to full. I am wondering if there is a way or if there is a specific parameter I need to change to enable me to use the color picker to control these Lumin Lights.

You might try setting the ranges to 0 > 100 on the colour params in the patch - don	 know if the colour picker wants to work with % but I did that on my custom fixtures and the colour picker works and all the library fixtures that are in my current show have it set that way. 
 As an aside is there any reason you are running Nomad in Element mode, as unless you are actually wanting to create show files for Element it seems a pity to have various features in the software disabled that you might want to use at some point.

your fixture is lacking the virtual Hue and Sat parameter that the Eos software automatically adds. that's why color picker doesn't work. 
 two things i would suggest: 
 - download and install the newest software version. current release is 2.8.2. not sure it's connected, but it's helpful anyway. 
 - use a different personality for your fixture. you can ask ETC to create a library personality for this fixture. just post here in the forum along with a link to the PDF and the due date (2-3 weeks is the regular turnaround) in the mean time take the personality Generic LED IRGBWS, copy and edit it. because this personality already has the logic built in how it has to react to the color picker. add the ColorMix parameter like you use it now. change the fixture type in your patch to the new fixture.
