Mapping sub in a fader

hey all!!!

In previous versions it was possible mapped a sub into a fader and the green led remains off, in the news version (I see this in 2.8.1) when a sub is mapped in a fader the green led lights up even though nothing programmed in it. This is normal or a possible bug?

This was fixed in 3.1.0.

This has been submitted as EOS-39807 in the past. This should be addressed in a future version of software!

What hardware are you seeing this on? Ti/Gio faders? Motorized fader wing? etc...

If it's the issue I remember, then there's different behaviour depending on hardware, don't remember which one does it and which not.

It's either gio@5 and later or pre-@5. I think the later hardware shows, the earlier does not. This did not change with 2.8.1 however but something like 3 years ago and has been reported multiple times.
