Several actions for one incoming sACN address

Hej fellow programmers,

yesterday I was just wondering about a show control behavior. If I have two different events for one incoming sACN addres/value it will execute just one of them.
Not a problem for me right now and I also recognized that you can like "chain" them together but still wondering if this is the expected behaviour and if so for what reason.

Thanks a lot!

  • Hej Ueli,

I recognized it while I was just playing around but I can imagine a remote scenario where I want to control more then one record target, channel or parameter in EOS with just one slider or something on the other end.
If for example the houselights are split up on three faders in EOS and I don´t want to change that it could be handy to just assign three events in showcontrol. Could be the same for the remote of a channel with multiple intensities or colors.
Of course I could create a new sub including all of the three or set up the remote in a way that it´s sending more than one address so there are workarounds but I still like the "feel of flexibility" to just do it all in showcontrol.
And I just wanted to know if it´s like that for a reason.
Of course it´s a little bit like the "one channel several addresses but one address no more than on channel"-rule in patch but still...
