Feature Request

So i have accumulated a bunch of items I hope ETC can look at. some i mentioned before, but shall again in case they got lost..

  • text Wrapping in magic sheets buttons
  • label effects column in effects running window, so one doesnt have to remember numbers.
  • have same effects able to run on different fixtures with out having to copy the effect and save as another number.
  • Allow a look created by an effect in freeze, or all in freeze to be ale to be saved  to a preset with out
  • magic sheet button to select, then tap again to un-select. (right now it just adds say the group over and over)
  • go back to previous Live view or snapshot after coming out of blind and not to live table.
  • have a default column on screen to save Snapshots or workspaces...instead of user having to create one.
  • additional Workspace layout options. like, four rows. 4 columns, four squares with column either side.
  • Make black out more noticeable...maybe whole top title bar goes red.
  • change filing to a tab system instead of file list like windows. less chance of merging when one wants to save.

Sorry for the long list.

  • "label effects column in effects" - The column would get very large and filled with "Flashing Fast", "Flashing Faster" "Flashing Faster than Faster".

"Have same effects able to run on different fixtures" - Do you mean Step Based Effects? Have you tried using a Relative or Absolute effect instead?

"Allow a look created by an effect in freeze" - I would love this!

  • "Have same effects able to run on different fixtures" - Do you mean Step Based Effects? Have you tried using a Relative or Absolute effect instead?

I think this is about the fact that you can't have multiple instances of the same absolute or linear effect running independently of each other at the same time. You can set them manually and it works, when you store and play back Eos runs the effect on one big selection.
