Changing dimmer modes in eos

Question

Hi all, 
 I know it's possible to change between dimmer modes within eos because I was working in a venue with an Ion xe and it had a shutdown macro that switched off all the lachlock circuits. At home I have a nomad and I'm trying to figure out how to change dimmer modes so I can make a similar macro but I can't figure out how to do it.

The mode setting happens in the dimmer processor (in ETC world that would currently be a CEM3). Eos can change that through Patch > Device List > Dimmers. But I suspect the macro moves in intensity in a timing that triggers the latch lock to release.
