I would really like to be able to edit, create, and share macros outside of the native EOS software.
Writing macros in the macro editor can be annoying. Also, when creating a larger macro, it can be very hard to keep track of things.
I would love if we could edit macros in a CSV file or something similar. That way, it would be much easier to view and edit one's current macros (much like how you can import info from LW6).
We could also for once share macros without having to delete most of a show file just to send one part of it to someone.
For me, I would very much like to be able to have all my macro syntax added to my Macro/Pallete/etc spreadsheets so I can view, edit, and add new ones that way.
I'm sure there are countless other uses and reasons for this. This is just mine.
