Show Control Screen

I Haven't been able to figure out what "Snapshot" is. I see it in the menu and can open it, but there is absolutely nothing in the manual about its use.

Press [Record] [Snapshot] then in the CIA push what you want to take a picture of. Enter in a number to record the snapshot to - push [Enter].

Also, try making a macro that says "Undo CLEAR_CMD Preview Event"

Snapshots are not supported in Ion like they are in Eos.  Because Ion does not have tabbed browsing the displays cannot be recalled like they would be on Eos.  I typically use macros in Ion where I might have used snapshots on Eos.

I Tried jabadgers macro and nothing happens. Anyone know how to make a macro on the Ion that displays the Show Control Screen?  We've tried writing a macro but it doesn't record the mouse selecting Show Control in the CIA and we can't find any keys that corespond to show control.

I've had some success in getting to the blind event using a macro.  When writing your macro, instead of using the mouse, try using the arrow keys and the [select] button.  This would give me a cmd line that says "Blind: Event", but the event display wouldn't show.  I was able to select events, assign cues or macros, and also got the correct softkeys,.... just no event display.

I did this with the Mac EOS offline editor, so it may behave differently on an Ion.   Either way - i was able to get "preview event" into a macro by using select.  Have a bash and see how you go.
