I think it is not realistic that ETC starts an open Beta for 3.0 before the 2.9. is ready.

The website above is in a closed forum, that's why you can't access it. But still, what Louis says it's correct. There is currently open beta phase for 2.9.1 and during that time there will certainly be no beta for 3.0

And my guess is that even when 2.9.1 is released there will not be open beta for 3.0 the next day...
