Ion Offline Editor

I am soon to light my first production using an Ion Desk (I am very familiar to date with Strand Series 500). I have downloaded the Ion Offline editor to help familiarise myself with procedures etc,but am finding difficulty in using the facility. Are there any notes to help me with this?? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

  • First, turn on Scroll Lock to activate keyboard shortcuts. If Scroll Lock is off, the keyboard types directly onto the command line.

F1 will open the console Help in the CIA.

(The CIA is the area with the green or red 'pushpin' where the Browser is)

If you don't have a printed list of shortcuts to refer to, holding F1 and hitting the semicolon (;) button opens the full list of keyboard shortcuts into the CIA. You can scroll this area with the Up and Down arrow keys.
