Paradigm Wall Station control from console

Looking for some general direction/ideas on how to help a client with device intercommunication. They have an Element console (v2.4) and a Paradigm rack/system all connected on ETCnet. They would like to have a button(s) on the magic sheet to activate/deactivate the wall station preset #1 to allow them to turn on house lights without having to run downstairs before turning off the console.  Since everything is on the ETCnet, I am thinking this should be possible - looking for ideas so I know what to read up on to help them, possibly OSC?  Thanks!

  • this can be done with UDP strings *IF* paradigm is prepared for this. that usually means calling the installer of the paradigm and having them do some re-programming of the paradigm.

(PS: the current software for the element console is 2.9.1; element gained a lot of new functions especially with 2.6, but with all others as well. i'd suggest updating when production schedule allows, but plan for some time to get re-adjusted to the console and its new functions)
