This is just a friendly reminder so others don't get caught like I did. . .
the designer does some programming in the house using the RVI. I'm not at the console for some of this time. The inputting of cues is rather haphazard, for various reasons: not starting at one and going to the end, but lots of jumping around, back and forth.
Turned off tracking on my console (no moving lights etc, all conventionals). I went away and he kept editting cues. Had weird stuff happen in some cues.
We didn't remember/realize that the Tracking/Q-only command is also internal to the RVI. d'oh! That may stop complaints of the board doing really weird things with the cues. . .
