Feature Request: Add BLACKOUT and GRAND MASTER fader to Nomad please!

the virtual keypad in nomad shows the newer generation of the facepanel (Ti/Gio/@5/Xe/Element2), and all of those consoles have neither a dedicated grandmaster nor a blackout button. you would map it to one of the faders on the facepanel, wherever you like. so probably Tab28 (Virtual Faders) are your best bet

Thank you for your prompt reply. Just curious as to the reasoning behind omitting these features from the newer generation of facepanel? (I understand that an accidental press of blackout button can cause momentary panic as it happened to me once years ago!)

i don't think it was about accidental presses. you can disable the blackout button in setup after all. i don't know what the reasoning was. i personally very rarely use the grandmaster or blackout button, i usually have inhibit subs and i want to map them to a fader of my choice

Interesting-I had not thought about using inhibit subs. Could you set one up to inhibit all channels? I do have a couple of unused virtual faders on page1. I assume fader action would be reversed compared to a traditional grand master.

you can decide which channel you want to have inhibited by an inhib sub, all of them if you want (but they don't get added automatically, so if you patch a new channel after you defined what goes in the inhibit, you will have to remember to add the channel to the inhib as well).

you know that you can map a grandmaster to the virtual fader tab as well?
