Network drives and USB drives.

Hello.

I have a question about shared storage on a EOS system.

I know you can use a network hard drive to save files and get them on other consoles in the same network but have any one successfully plugged a USB flash drive in to a router and used that as a network storage?

I have a router for my xRFR system and they often have a USB port where you can set up a HDD or USB stick to share on the network.

Would that work on a EOS system?

As long as the USB share on the netwrrok can be seen as a normal file share by windows PC's then it should work as basically the EOS desk is a windows PC with a lot of custom hardware bits around it and…
