ByType Palettes I find to be really annoying.
Could there be a simpler method of updating in future releases?
I was thinking of some sort of sticky unit.
For instance.
Ch1 is ByType, it's sat in CP1 in a cue, I'm modifying CP2 on Ch5 and I want to update CP2 ByType.
Correct me if I'm wrong but unless I use dummy fixtures as Bytype and a long winded Macro to update (which is fine if in house or a limited number of colour fixtures) I get discrete data in the CP on the original Channel Ch1.
Would it not make sense for the desk to understand that the same type should only update the original (Ch1) if using update (with an option to disable if using scrollers where discrete data is preferable)
Ch1 set to sticky unit.
My English is bad, I'm English, that's probably why :-)
