How to do Chase

1. How to do similar AvoLITES Chase program    Not chase effect   ?   

2.Element2 not create 2/1  Cue list?

  • You don't need to use cue lists for effects.

    Just go into the effect tab and create an absolute effect.  Put 2 steps in it set the step time of first step to 1 and other step to say 2.  in the level of the first step put either an actual level or a colour pallete,  leave step 2 as Bkgrd (meaning it will be what the fixture was add prior to running the effect).

    Then in live just pick a group of fixtures and enter effect and the number of the effect you created.

    eg type Group 1 Effect 1 and the chase will run across all the fixtures in the group,

    In the effects tab theres a bunch of other buttons on the right to modify how it behaves and speed.

    Also if after entering Group 1 you press Offset before entering Effect 1 you get the options to run the effect in reverse, random, mirrored etc.
