When being on a tour recently with a programming wing and a Nomad, I've encountered some difficulties with 2 of my devices hung on the FOH.
It happenned twice that my devices weren't exactly in front of the stage, but turned 80 to 90° because of the hanging pipes of the venue.
I tried to find an option into the patch to set a shift of 80° to the pan of those 2 devices, but didn't find anything.
I know I could change all my presets and focus palettes, probably with a query. But I really feel like it would be easier to just set a shift to the pan, so all positions, whether in a preset or directly into a cue list, even when using the device from home would be in the correct position.
As well, if I could set a shift to the pan, when creating a new preset or focus palette, those would be correct even if later I go to a venue where my devices would be in front of the stage. So I would just reset that shift to 0 to have all my old and new palettes just perfectly where they have to be.
Having worked with other light desks, I really miss that feature that make a lot easier to tour with moving lights.
