Real-time events

I think you can run the internal SMPTE clock (based on a normal 24 hour clock) then have the event trigger when that time comes. Probably won't work so well if you are running SMPTE from an external source though.

Eos will do real time events.

Use the browser to navigate:

Record Targets -> Show Control Display 

Once in the show control display screen create a new event list by typing [1] [Enter] 

The command line should read "Event 1"

Select the softkey "Type"

Then select the softkey "RTC"  (Real Time Clock)  [Enter]

Select the softkey "internal" and press [Enter]

This will have created an event list 1 which is a real time event list that will listen to the internal clock.

You can now define what events you wish to happen and at what time and on what day for this list.

The softkeys will provide the options.

Events are defined as

Event 1/1 = event list one / event one

Event 1/2 = event list one / event two and so on. 

NOTE:  if you setup Latitude and Longitude in the shell you can do sunrise and sunset based events as well.

I am having trouble with creating a RTC event to execute a macro. I have setup the event in show control, but when the time comes, nothing happens.

I have the following setup:

Event 1 | 19:25 | Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri | Macro 15

details:

Type is RTC Internal is on and status is enabled.

Any ideas??

You may also want to verify that the latitude and longitude are set correctly for your location.
