Submasters overriding captured channels

capture should protect channels against subs and in my experience does do this.

can you be a bit more specific what you were doing? maybe post a showfile with steps to reproduce?

Hi, thanks for responding. Here is my file. I put a few channels on sub 50 and have sub 50 at full. Then I go to blind and copy sub 50 to a new sub, 51. Back in live mode I set one of the channels from sub 50 to out. When I bring up sub 51 the sub overrides the captured manual  channel and brings it to the level recorded in sub 50

Thank you so much for the reproduction steps and the show file.  Another user had reported similar behavior last week but I had been unable to reproduce it.  This is recorded as SCR EOS-50059.

I have this same issue occurring in 3.0 build 389. It seems to be that if you create the sub (blind or live) while in the capture state, the sub overrides the captured values. Once the capture state is released and re-applied it behaves as expected and you cannot override the values with the sub.

Thank you for the report.  At this time this bug is still open and we are working on resolving it for the future.
